Times Network launched Movies Now 2 in June 2016 as a second English movie channel. In July 2017, it was renamed MNX, meaning Movies Now Next. The rebranding gave it a distinct identity aimed at younger Hollywood movie fans. Mad Max: Fury Road was the first major film shown under the new MNX branding.

MNX HD is available through Times Play on Airtel Xstream Play. Viewers can find the channel in the live TV section of the platform. Access depends on the streaming service and applicable subscription. MNX is also carried by several Indian cable and DTH operators.

All three are English movie channels operated by Times Network, but each has its own programming focus. Movies Now concentrates on mainstream Hollywood blockbusters, while MNX offers a more youthful selection of action films, thrillers and unconventional entertainment. MN+ places greater emphasis on acclaimed Hollywood films, memorable performances and critically recognised cinema.

Yes. MNX has a high-definition version called MNX HD, which broadcasts in 1080i. The regular MNX channel is available in standard definition. No. MNX is a pay television channel and is not available through the regular DD Free Dish service. Viewers need a cable or DTH subscription that includes the channel. MNX and MNX HD may be offered separately or as part of an English movie package, depending on the television provider.
